In einem Supermarkt bei Krems wurde 2009 ein 14-jähriger Bub bei einem nächtlichen Einbruch von der Polizei erschossen. Inspiriert von dem tragischen Fall greift die österreichische Produktion "Einer von uns" das Lebensgefühl von Jugendlichen wie Julian und seinem Kumpel Marko auf, das von Konsum wie auch ohnmächtiger Rebellion geprägt ist. Regisseur und Drehbuchautor Stephan Richter scheut wohlfeile Erklärungsversuche, sondern konzentriert sich ganz auf die triste Location und seine jungen Darsteller, im Übrigen vertraut er auf die Empathie des Publikums. In seinen stärksten Momenten erinnert dieses überraschend stimmige Spielfilmdebüt an Werke wie "SubUrbia" von Richard Linklater, in dem gleichfalls eine Gruppe von Teenagern am Parkplatz vor einem Supermarkt zusammentrifft; dort allerdings wird zum Glück nur die Zeit totgeschlagen.Enzo Brandner, Stephan Richter, Stephan Richter, Karin C.
